Job Summary:

The Manager of Infrastructure is responsible for the planning, operation and overall management of IT infrastructure services. Services include staffing, vendor services, and necessary IT technologies. Technologies include end-user devices, computing and data storage resources (both local and cloud-based systems); network communications (both wired and wireless); data center operations; and IT security and management technologies.

Essential Functions:

* Build strong relationships with business groups and their leaders across the enterprise, and maintain an ongoing understanding of their issues, challenges, and opportunities.


* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders as partners in creating consumer value.


* Cut through the IT "buzzwords" to get to the heart of challenges and opportunities faced by the business; translate technology capabilities into business language.


* In partnership with operational leaders, ensure that accountabilities are clear for who will deliver benefits from IT investments, and regularly report on achieved versus planned benefits.


* Set the vision and roadmap for IT infrastructure, and lead the infrastructure team in effectively executing against GSRN's IT roadmap.


* Enable collaboration and communication across the organization's consumers, partners, and strategic vendors.


* Use IT to improve relevant operational key performance indicators (KPIs) such as operating margin improvement, service quality, and clinical productivity.


* Meet or exceed infrastructure service level metrics through defined and well-managed production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards.


* Resolve operational problems, proactively identify work process improvements; implement solutions.


* Proactively advise GSRN on emerging IT infrastructure products and services most relevant to the company's evolving needs. Balance consideration of new technologies with information resources, human capabilities, and operational innovations.


* Monitor the industry for developments in IT operations and evaluate new tools and service management frameworks for potential implementation.


* Effectively manage IT staff to excel in strong collaboration, customer service, continued skills development and active vendor relationship management.


* Effectively manage vendor relationships that result in strong collaboration, superior products and service offerings; and continued innovation.


* Prepare and monitor IT operational budgets that meet prevailing objectives and constraints


* Meet financial expectations by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving actions.


* Protects organization value by keeping information confidential.


* Ensure infrastructure projects are completed on time, as scoped, within budget.



Minimum Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field required



Minimum Experience Requirements:

* 5-7 years of experience in information technology required


* 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience required



License/Certifications:

* Project Management Professional preferred
