Job Details

Job Summary: The CT Technologist enhances patientcare through the use of ionizing radiation in an effort to contribute to thediagnosis and treatment plan for all patients requiring computed tomographicand X-ray imaging procedures at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital. The CTTechnologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures through thetechnical application and principles of Computed Tomography and according todepartment protocol, policies and procedural guidelines.

MinimumEducation Requirements: Graduate from an AMA or Committee onAllied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) recognized School ofRadiologic Science with an Associateof Science in Radiological Science required.

Minimum Experience Requirements: This position requires a minimum of 2 years clinicalexperience in either imaging modality in an outpatient or acute careenvironment with proven competency in neurological, musculoskeletal, andabdominal imaging.

Preferred Qualifications: CTcertification preferred.

License/Certification Requirements: Board certified and in good standing with the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists. Board certified or Board eligible ineither Computed Tomography / Xray.
