RN - Registered Nurse

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse in our rehabilitation hospital promotes and restores patient's health by completing the nursing process. Responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members and for providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends and families. Delegates and evaluates care assigned to LPNs and CNAs to meet patient care needs.

Minimum Experience Requirements: Completion of an accredited RN program required.

Minimum Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Must actively participate and show progression in an accredited BSN program with a completion date of no later than August 31, 2020.*

* Please note: If you are a current RN employee of Good Shepherd, this BSN requirement does not apply to you.

Preferred Qualifications: RN with prior experience in a medical-surgical, acute care or rehabilitation setting preferred.

License/Certification Requirements: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or eligible for licensure required. CPR certification required.
