OT - Occupational Therapist

1 year preferred

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services in an inpatient pediatric setting comprised of patients with musculoskeletal, cardiovascular/pulmonary, integumentary and neuromuscular medical conditions/diagnoses and developmental disabilities.

Promotes occupational performance and health, prevents disability by restoring physical and cognitive capabilities and/or using adaptation/compensation through evaluation, planning, intervention/re-evaluation, discharge/follow-up.

Minimum Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited college or university of Occupational Therapy with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy required.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior inpatient and/or pediatric experience as a student or practicing clinician preferred.

License/Certification Requirements: Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Pennsylvania required. Valid CPR certification upon hire or within first 90 days of employment required.
