Job Responsibilities:
An opportunity exists for an experienced mid-level Contaminant Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Contaminated Sites team, based in the Perth office. You will be involved in a range of Site Contamination assessments working on a variety of technically challenging projects for multi-national clients. This is an opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and employee-owned professional consulting company.

You will be responsible for:
* Providing technical support and guidance for sites with soil and groundwater contamination;
* Carrying out Preliminary Site Investigations and Detailed Site Investigations including vapour, soil and groundwater monitoring programmes;
* Development of robust Conceptual Site Models for sites with a range of contamination issues, hydrogeological setting and complexity;
* Managing small to medium sized projects focussed on contaminated site investigation, monitoring and remediation;
* Undertaking environmental due diligence and compliance reviews;
* Preparing proposals, reports and other deliverables;
* Supervising work of technicians and junior professional staff on site and in the office; and
* Maintaining client contact and contractor liaison.

Job Requirements:
To be successful, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Earth Science, Environmental Engineering or related discipline as a minimum with several years' experience in Contaminant Hydrogeology. A Master's degree with specialisation in Hydrogeology would be considered an asset. It is expected that you will have strong numeracy, report writing and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for fieldwork. You must have a sound knowledge of applicable Australian guidelines and standards for risk assessment and contaminated sites in Australia and previous consulting experience will be viewed favourably.
