Job Responsibilities:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an administrative professional to provide Word Processing/Administrative Assistance in the Vancouver office. The successful candidate will be supporting the BC region working in the Geotechnical & Environmental Remediation (GER) Business Support group. The Word Processor/Administrative Assistant will be a key member of the administration team and will primarily responsible for word processing client deliverables and supporting the group with day to day Administrative support. In addition, duties will include but will not be limited to:
* Preparation, data entry, editing and formatting of letters, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, CV's and other documents;
* Ensuring that all documents adhere to company regulated quality standards and standardized templates;
* Using Adobe Professional creating and compiling PDF documents from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.;
* Project related filing and scanning;
* Providing Administrative support to the GER operating unit (Geotechnical & Environmental Remediation)
* Maintaining group level records and adhering to electronic filing guidelines;
* Assisting the GER Operating Unit and Operations Administrator with various administrative tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A Good Attitude
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS Office programs'
* Knowledge of Office 365 and specifically SharePoint would be an asset
* A minimum of 1-3 years' providing administrative support in a professional office environment;
* Knowledge of engineering consulting and/or related industries is an asset;
* Graduate of business administration course/program is preferred;
* Superior Customer Service skills;
* Positive team player and support-oriented attitude;
* Flexibility and high degree of multi tasking ability;
* Excellent organizational & time management skills (prioritizing, record keeping, follow up);
* Good communication skills (both oral and written);
* A friendly, pleasant manner;
* Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills;
* Strong attention to detail;
