Golder Associates is currently seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in London, ON.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
* Preparation of technical proposals and reports;
* Mentoring and/or direction of more junior staff on projects;
* Design, manage, and undertake a wide variety of geotechnical investigation programs, of various scales;
* Assist in the development of client relationships, business plan development;
* Managing technical and financial aspects of geotechnical assignments ranging to as much as $20,000.

Job Requirements:
* University graduate with a degree in geotechnical, geological, or civil (geotechnical) engineering (Master's preferred);
* Currently registered or eligible for registration with PEO;
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience since graduation;
* A sound base in the application of geotechnical engineering to problem solving;
* Experience in problem-solving with common industry commercial computer software for foundation design, slope stability and finite element/difference analyses;
* Strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills;
* Strong written and oral communication (English) skills;
* Experience with solving field construction testing and engineering problems;
* Experience with construction specification writing and implementation are an asset;
* Experience with technical and financial aspects of project management responsibilities;
