Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Geological Engineer for the Reno, Nevada location. Your primary responsibilties will include:
* Field data collection, instrument installation, data reduction, engineering analyses, and report writing, including but not limited to:
* Geotechnical rock core logging, geotechnical soil logging, and USCS soil classification
* Installation of inclinometers and piezometers
* Summarizing core logging data, calculating RMR, and interpreting laboratory testing data
* Structural interpretation of borehole televiewer surveys
* Constructing and manipulating 3D geologic models in computer modeling programs
* Slope stability analyses

Job Requirements:
The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
* B.S. and M.S. in Geological Engineering, Rock Mechanics, or Geotechnical Engineering
* Must be willing to travel and undertake extended field assignments at remote locations
* Highly motivated with strong work ethic
* Good attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills
* Good writing skills
* Flexibility to perform a variety of assignments
* AutoCAD, Surpac, or Vulcan experience helpful
