Job Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Scientist to join our risk assessment and toxicological services team. Working within this dynamic team, you will be involved in a range of human health and ecological risk assessment, toxicology and contaminated land projects and have access to leading industry experts to mentor and guide you in your professional development.

Your responsibilities include:
* Performing detailed human health risk assessments for environmental exposures including soil vapour, indoor air, soil and groundwater matrices;
* Performing ecological risk assessment for contaminated sites;
* Conducting other environmental assessments and planning including baseline environmental investigations, preliminary site investigations, detailed site investigations as necessary;
* Undertaking interpretation of field, laboratory and toxicological data;
* Planning and managing soil vapour investigations and conducting vapour intrusion modelling, if required;
* Liaising with specialists from other disciplines of offices within Golder Associates;
* Deliver on overall management of tasks including planning, scheduling, resourcing, reporting and cost/scope tracking to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budgets; and
* Preparation of various deliverables including proposals, tenders, and high quality reports.

Job Requirements:
You will be qualified with a bachelor's degree or higher in Biological Sciences or equivalent. You will have experience in a similar role and knowledge of applicable Australian guidelines and standards for risk assessment, toxicology assessment and contaminated sites in Australia. It is expected that you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse group of people. Previous consulting experience will be highly regarded.
