Job Responsibilities:
We have an immediate opening for an intermediate Surface Water Engineer or relevant Geosciences Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience in water resources engineering, water quality modelling, hydrotechnical engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, flood frequency analysis and stormwater management modelling, and design.

The successful candidate will have experience in water chemistry, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, design and modelling with good time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and works well in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Evaluation of water chemistry effects in receiving environments
* Analysis of hydrological and hydraulic problems and designs
* Project Management and technical support on a wide range of water resources projects
* Coordination of Field Teams
* Technical report writing
* Supervision of junior engineering staff on project work
* Contributions to business development and proposal preparation

Job Requirements:
* Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering; with an emphasis on water resources.
* 3 - 5 years or more of regulatory, industry or consulting engineering experience;
* A proven record in successful project management;
* Willingness to travel.
* Leadership potential
* Must be eligible for registration with PEO or APGO.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
* Experience working in a consulting engineering environment;
* Experience in modelling hydrologic systems, surface water hydrology and design analyses;
* Experience in stormwater management modeling including low impact development design;
* Experience with the design of culverts and in-stream fish habitat structures such as Newbury riffle weirs and sediment traps;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Familiarity with SWMM, HEC-RAS, water balance model, and other industry standard water resources software would be considered an asset;
* A valid Ontario Drivers' License
