Job Description

Globalfoundries, an advanced semiconductor manufacturing & technology company, is seeking the following positions in Malta, NY:

• Principal Specialist Technical Training #17007402: Design training programs & conduct development programs to improve individual/org performance. Maintain training documentation, including certifications, training checklists, & learning plans in the Learning Management System.

• SMTS Lithography #17007404: Oversee startup, qualification & sustaining activity of leading edge Photolithography Coat & Develop Tracks as a Track Equipment Team Lead to support 14nm & 7nm technology requirements.

• SMTS Technology & Integration #17007406: Develop technologies for 7nm and beyond generations of semiconductor manufacturing technologies. Define technology requirements and parametric goals in-line with GF microprocessor performance roadmap and product offerings.

• Engineer Process Engineering #17007407: Work as a CFM Defect Engineer responsible for setting up and implementing effective defect monitoring strategy for 14/7nm advanced technology nodes. Position includes shift schedules, including evenings and weekends.

• Principal Engineer Technology & Integration #17007410: Sustain & improve yield for process technology in semiconductor volume manufacturing. Perform process targeting and yield improvement for new products under installation or qualification.

• Senior Engineer Complex Analysis #17007411: Provide technical leadership in using electrical and physical fault isolation techniques to identify and solve yield and reliability issues in semiconductor manufacturing. Work with package-based projects but support a wide variety of failure modes.

• Principal Engineer Layout Design #17007413: Support test chip CAD team by providing Cadence SKILL and Pcell functions for automatic generation of test structures and for automating other layout tasks. Provide general CAD infrastructure support, consultation and training and test macro layout and verification. Occasional domestic and/or international travel (4%) may be required.

• Principal Engineer Design Enablement #17007414: Work as part of the Computational Patterning & OPC Development team to develop software solutions for modifying incoming design & enabling a more manufacturable mask build. Work with Design Manual team to define ground rules for Design Rule Services.

• Senior Engineer Process Engineering #17007415: Conduct equipment selection for semiconductor manufacturing tools and support installation and qualification of new tools and process technologies. Oversee continuous improvement of processes for high volume manufacturing using statistical tools, DOE techniques.

• Senior Engineer Technology & Integration #17007417: Responsible for Process Window Qualification of all new technology products, Proto lots, and New Litho Mask Reticle. Drive continuous improvement to streamline CFM workflow on defect detection efficiency and defect monitoring.

• MTS Design Enablement #17007418: Perform electronic design engineering, investigate semiconductor process and design sensitivities, and drive DFM into standard flows to improve manufacturability of semiconductor technology nodes.

• MTS Facilities Engineering #17007419: Analyze complex process issues related to slurries and CMP process tools used in semiconductor industry. Deliver & improve quality, yield cost, productivity & safety KPIs.

• Engineer Process Engineering #17007420: Work as professional materials engineer to formulate effective inline defect inspection/monitoring/control strategy & methodology to support advanced technology development & volume manufacturing activities.

• Senior Engineer Process Engineering #18000200: Support inline defect control to limit impact of defect issues on production wafers. Implement BKMs for continuous improvement of quality of root cause analysis and speed of reaction to reduce fab excursion impact.

• MTS Diagnostic Engineering #18000258: Work in product functional failure diagnostics to isolate failures using scan chain diagnostics and EDA tools. Perform circuit & layout analysis.

• Senior Engineer Device Technology #18000259: Perform electronic design engineering & contribute to 7nm device team responsible for developing & implementing advanced junction process design used in semiconductor manufacturing.

• Principal Engineer Process Engineering #18000400: Coordinate with Process Integration, Process Engineering, Device, and Characterization teams to meet device performance, yield, reliability, and variability requirements. Support development and installation of new transistor and process variants.
