Job Description

GLOBALFOUNDRIES is seeking highlyskilled and motivated semiconductor development intern engineer with coding and automation experience to becomepart of the Global Tapeout Operations organization. This intern will beresponsible for supporting GLOBALFOUNDRIES' advanced technology Tapeouts.Working on the leading edge technologies will provide an opportunity to developnew methodologies and business practices aimed at a highly efficient andworld-class Data Prep operations.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

- Developing systems verifyingdesign kit installations, verifying checking results from multiple checkingtools, and categorizing/analyzing/reporting differences in results.

- Workwith the TapeOut Center (TOC) to define the specifications for these tools.

- Collaboratewith TOC to define new projects to improve cycle time and quality.

- Developbusiness processes and documentation for the new tools.

- Performall activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental,Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs


- BS Studentenrolled in an accredited program on Electrical Engineering, ComputerEngineering or related fields.

- Minimum of 3months experience with software/programming languages (i.e. C, C , Perl,Python, Java, VBA etc.), within UNIX environments.

- Strongcommunication skills with fluency in English - written & verbal

- Self-motivated;able to take ownership of assignments, develop work plans and proactively seekfeedback to ensure objectives are aligned and met.

- Team player; ableto succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications::

- VLSI designcourses / experience,

- SemiconductorProcess Technology courses / experience,
