Role Description

The Business Impact Assessment Commercial Program Manager is a key partner with other business impact, corporate and compliance managers. The Business Impact Assessment Commercial Program Manager is key to safeguarding SAP Concur, its customers, reputation, assets and the interests of shareholders, by assisting in identifying threats and opportunities for the achievement of business objectives.

The Business Impact Assessment Government Program Manager will plan, initiate, and manage business impact assessment projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff, Human Resources and other departments that must support the program as well as subcontractors. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and timeline targets are met.

The Business Impact Assessment Commercial Program Manager works collaboratively within SAP Concur to support all aspects of enhancing the business impact management program and the development of dashboards and collection of key business impact indicators and alignment of incidents/issues with business impact register monitoring. She/he will also provide the operational support for the program through monitoring and analysis, updating key policies/standards in order to assess activities in accordance with risk appetite/tolerance.

The Business Impact Assessment Commercial Program Manager reports to the Director of Business Impact Assessment.

Position Responsibilities

* Collaborate within SAP Concur and SAP Global to continuously enhance business impact program, analysis and corporate governance
* Execute the Business Impact Lifecycle (identify, assess, treat, monitor and report)
* Support the implementation of Business Impact Methodology
* Partner with and collect/report key metrics provided by multiple stakeholders, assist with the development and reporting of key risk dashboards
* Maintain a centralized business impact register
* Manage the review and assessment of key processes and controls, as needed
* Assist with reporting to senior management, as required
* Excellent business and commercial acumen - strong strategic and tactical agility;
* Excellent communications skills, highly developed interpersonal skills and strong ability to work collaboratively across the organization and obtain positive visibility and credibility quickly;
* Articulates the value and importance of compliance and business impact analysis and management in a positive and business-sensitive manner to commercial businesses

Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills

* Develop an in-depth understanding of SAP Concurs business products, internal workings of the organization and myriad interdependencies
* Understand and align business strategy/objectives and influence decision making through appropriate business impact discussions
* Utilize quantitative and qualitative skills to analyze data and influence business impact plans
* Collaborate with others to promote the exchange of ideas and experience among stakeholders with responsibility for business impact and serve as independent voice to help pressure test business impact levels and appropriate mitigation strategies
* Understanding of major risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO ) in order to implement best practice and tailor for our industry and company culture
* Experience interacting with global risk managers preferred
* Perform business impact assessments to develop response strategies
* Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards
* Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback
* Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
* Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables
* The position requires a strong, diverse background and truly exceptional oral and written communications skills
* The candidate must demonstrate proven success in working in a team as well as independently and exhibit follow-through to understand root causes of issues
* This position requires handling multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines
* A demonstrated ability to write clear, coherent and precise reports on a multiplicity of complex technical issues is essential
* Ability to build consensus, create momentum, and work well cross-functionally with other departments and varying levels of management
* Proven success in building, analyzing, and monitoring KRI and success measures
* Strong stakeholder management skills with a focus on listening to stakeholder and customer needs
* Effectively innovate and implement policies, procedures, processes, controls and approaches
* Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong credible relationships

Qualifications & Experience

* The ideal candidate would have 5+ years in roles in operational risk, enterprise risk, or related function and proven ability to influence others
* An undergraduate College/University Degree.
* Exceptional communication and analytical skills
* Program Management experience
* Cloud software experience
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* US Citizen
* US Resident
