About Sales, Service and Marketing (SSM) Driving all of General Motors Sales for North America this group is made up of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC brands as well as our Sales Operations groups. For the race enthusiast, we are also the home to Motorsports and accessories which provide a large contribution to the revenue of SSM. SSM is also the home to all of GM's marketing groups- from auto shows, to new vehicle launches. About This Role: The NAMA intern is fully integrated into the Market & Industry Analysis (MIA) team upon arrival. The intern will go through the typical onboarding process that all new members of the MIA team experience. During onboarding, the intern is trained how to use the multiple data sources MIA uses to complete daily tasks. Once brought up to speed, the intern will use these data sources to complete assignments through intensive data analytics. Special topics are assigned dealing with specific vehicle/segment performance for both GM and competitors, which includes a full analysis on the background, recent performance and future plans for major competitors. During the assignment, there are opportunities to present these topics in team meetings and to leadership.


* Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree focused in Sales, Marketing, or related fields of study
* Must have a minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA on a 4.0 scale
* Preferred graduation year: 2021
* Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities or service organizations
* Able to work full-time: 40 hours per week during the summer months


* Prior internship experience!
