Location(s): United States; Delaware; Newark

Role Summary:

The Manufacturing Tech 1 will perform various production tasks such as: preform layup, tape cutting, tape winding, slurry making and CVD furnace operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

The person in this position will:

* Show knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
* Be responsible for performing task such as: preform layup, tape cutting, tape winding, slurry making and CVD furnace operations
* Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
* Be responsible for set-up and operation of work space, production equipment and furnaces
* Record data on part travelers or in databases and spreadsheets
* Perform all work in a safe manner
* Be responsible for completing training requirements for one of the four productions teams: Tow Coating, Layup/cutting, BO/MI or Slurry/Winding.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* One year experience working in a manufacturing environment or training certificate applicable to one of the four manufacturing areas

Desired Characteristics:

* Experience with entering data into a database
* Ability to work in a teaming environment
* Good verbal and written communication skills
