Role Summary:

The GE Aviation Video Projects Specialist will be a creative, visual thinker with strong communication skills and a relentless attention to detail. The role of Video Projects Specialist is part of the GE Aviation Creative Services team. It requires experience in all aspects of video production with a strong emphasis on video editing and post production.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as the Video Projects Specialist, you will:

Lead and collaborate in the creation of videos for internal and external use as well as support a variety of projects led by the GE Aviation communications team

Manage multiple projects, tight deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Conceptualize a story through scripting and storyboarding

Produce high quality projects using Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut X (specifically Premiere, After Effects)

Proficient with camera, lighting and audio equipment

Proficient in motion graphics and animation a plus

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

A minimum of 4 years (work / University) of combined experience in Communications, video / audio production and/or related areas

Proficient in non-liner editing systems, including Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut X

Desired Characteristics:

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to effectively engage at all levels of the organization, including senior executive interaction

Ability to work independently
