Role Summary/Purpose

The Candidate will be part of the Legal Compliance team with a specific focus on supporting the Legal Compliance Team on administrative tasks as well as managing the due diligence tasks associated with the Independent Third Parties (ITP), Domestic Consultants and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for management for GE Aviation. Additionally, the Candidate will assist with team operating rhythms and office management.

Essential Responsibilities

The Legal Compliance Administrative Assistant must be a self-starter, and enjoy working within an environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual can exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

The Legal Compliance Administrative Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion

In addition, as the Legal Compliance Administrative Assistant, you will :

Proactively coordinate two Executives' calendar, which is comprised of a heavy meeting schedule and extensive travel - identify conflicts and resolve promptly

Make complex travel arrangements and coordinate itineraries, including: domestic / international and required Visas

Maintain reconciliation of AMEX expenses as required in accordance with GE guidelines using Concur

Provide diverse and advanced administrative duties for executives and provide support to the staff on an as needed basis - including creating presentations, documents, spreadsheets as needed

Help Payroll Control E Business Segment Aviation Legal & Business Development

Coordinate, conceive of, and implement team activities and meetings

Provide discrete and confidential coordination of sensitive company information

Prepare correspondence, invoices, distribution lists and other documents as requested and maintain files, both electronic and hard copy

* Other tasks include conducting research, faxing, photocopying and mailing

Regularly use Microsoft Applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel web tools such as Skype)

Provide overall office management and administrative duties such as phone coverage, call screening and correspondence

Anticipates needs and accomplishes responsibilities without direction

Manage multiple projects and priorities and initiates follow up to ensure timely achievement of commitments

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Evendale, Ohio

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an administrator role)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :

Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule as required - including potential overtime

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Evendale, Ohio
