Role Summary/Purpose

Rotational leadership development track offering internal and external experience across the communications function at GE Aviation that includes :

Begin with two year-long rotational assignments offering a diverse range of projects

Leadership exposure and development that provides strong opportunities for growth

Active coaching throughout the program

Training and other personal and professional development opportunities

Essential Responsibilities

In addition, the Communications Leadership Development Track will :

Serve as a part of GE Aviation's global communications team, developing and executing communications strategy and messaging to protect and promote the GE brand with key stakeholders, and to ensure employee engagement and strong connectivity to business strategy

Support of ongoing content creation for GE Aviation's internal and external communication channels, including writing, editing, interviews, videography, etc.

Support social media strategy, including content planning, development and distribution for GE Aviation social channels

Engage, motivate and educate employees in a two-way dialogue that drives strategic organizational action and change on key initiatives across GE Aviation

Connect employees to culture with clear messages and creative tactics that increase awareness and motivate

Provide communications and support for GE Aviation's annual fundraising campaigns - ArtsWave and Community Service Fund (supporting United Way of Greater Cincinnati)

Provide website support for GE Aviation and its joint ventures, including content collection, editing, writing, etc.

Creatively utilize contemporary channels aligned with audience and messaging

Support communications for key events and milestones, such as the Farnborough and Paris Air Shows


Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Communications)

Intern / co-op experience in Communications, Marketing or a related field
