Overview

Generac Power Systems - Join the leader in the power industry! Our Corporate Office in Waukesha, WI is seeking a year-round Internal Audit Intern for our Finance Department starting in Spring of 2019. Students are asked to work 15-20 hours per week during the school-year along with full-time over the summer and breaks.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* Participate in ongoing review and evaluation of internal controls by:
* Scheduling and documenting process walkthroughs with process owners
* Documenting the testing and results of audit procedures
* Evaluating information to determine compliance with policies and procedures
* Drafting Internal Audit requests and deliverables


* Assist in the implementation of new GRC Compliance tool as needed
* Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* A minimum of Junior year status (for 2018-2019 school year)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
