Genentech seeks a highly motivated, interactive, and creative BS/MS candidates to support
programs in predictive biomarker discovery in the Research Oncology Diagnostics department. The successful candidate will utilize in vitro models of cancer to understand the mechanism of action of targeted therapies and chemotherapy.
Applicants should be at least in their 3rd or 4th year in their BS degree. MS candidates are
also encouraged to apply. Strong performance in relevant academic courses in (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, etc) is required. Candidates with previous laboratory experience (e.g., summer positions) would be ideal. The position requires self-motivation, teamwork, and dedication to quality in a fast paced scientific setting.
