In this role, you will :

Work in a dynamic, fast paced work environment producing rotating jet engine components

Work and be a part of a curriculum consisting of manufacturing assignments and classroom training

Attend classes to complete a Computer Integrated Machining Diploma Qualifications/Requirements

Working towards or completion of a High School Diploma / GED

Minimum of 2 years of higher-level math (i.e. algebra and geometry) coursework

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :

Ability and willingness to earn a certificate of completion in the registered 4 year apprentice program with the state of North Carolina (which will include taking college courses over the 4 years to obtain a Computer Integrated Machining Diploma) Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Desired Characteristics

Vo-tech training, machining skills, and / or prior college course work in Math and Science

Minimum of 2 years of higher-level math (i.e. algebra and geometry) coursework with a grade of B or better average

Minimum of 1 year of higher-level science coursework with a grade of B or better average
