Job Description

The Vice President, Acquisitions is responsible for overseeing
the acquirement of real estate investment activities for the Galman
Group Real Estate Investment Portfolio.The VP, Acquisitions
will ensure consistent and disciplined transaction execution while
ensuring the interests of the Galman Group.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Identifies new real estate investment opportunities to add to
the Galman Group portfolio based upon current acquisition
strategy.
Provide detailed financial modelling and valuation during the
acquisition life cycle.
Provide updates during the negotiation process to President,
Executive Team and external stakeholders.
Structure and negotiate letters of intent, business terms of
purchase agreements, and sale agreements for acquisitions that the
company participates in.
Conduct due diligence and underwriting processes; manage assets
and oversee the closing process.
Manage relations with owners, banks, architects, attorneys,
townships, and contractors.
Manage cross functional project teams to deliver high quality
results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a field related to real estate (i.e.,
engineering, architecture, construction, finance, law, or
economics).
5 to 10 years of previous experience in real estate,
construction, finance, brokerage, development, or
investment-related business.
Experience with financial underwriting and modeling
required.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
and Project.
Must possess excellent business acumen and extremely strong
collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills.
Must have strong strategic skills with the ability to identify
and assess key points, implications and recommendations; ability to
structure a business case around a high-level strategic
vision.
Must have expert financial analytical valuation skills,
including the ability to read and interpret financial statements
and build financial models.
