Pronto Insurance is one of the fastest growing general agencies in South Texas and is now a member of Gallagher, a world wide expert in risk management solutions. Pronto has emerged in the insurance market through its captive agencies, independent agents, and franchise locations. We are seeking an energetic, dynamic, and competitive individual who is passionate about sales and ready to jump-start their career in the insurance industry. Each candidate will be a part of the 50/50 Program, a rigorous two-year training-and-development program designed to mold candidates into elite salespeople who can drive new business opportunities. As part of the program, candidates are paired with two experienced salespeople who will act as mentors and leaders. These people are dedicated to the candidate's long-term success and will provide intensive hands-on training to develop superior sales habits.


This is a consultative sales role requiring the individual to build

relationships with customers and drive new business to their offices by building rapport, asking

questions, presenting solutions and gaining commitment. The Sales Representative will

spend 80 percent of his or her time in the field visiting customers and be measured on how

often he or she demonstrates quoting platforms as well as the results of these efforts.


Increasing new submissions, quotes and premium by performing the following:

1. Conduct 20 sales calls a week to demonstrate web and phone quoting

capabilities and setting insurance retailers up on the web quoting system upon

successful demonstration. Weekly reporting of sales meetings that occurred

each week the reporting of meetings scheduled for the upcoming week.

2. Timely follow up and continuous communication with customers/prospects to

find out and take advantage of additional opportunities.

3. Systematic prospecting and arranging meetings with potential new customers,

and with customers that have not reached their potential.

4. Identify and establish a relationship with the key contacts making sure we are

doing business with the right people in each retail operation.

5. Work with their team to review web activity to spot trends positive and

negative and addressing these trends immediately.

6. Establish an active relationship with Regional Sales Manager and regularly

discuss strategy and tactics including sales issues, travel and follow up.

7. Pursue continuing education and insurance designations/licenses as outlined in

the training and development plan. This will require self-study.


Travel - 80% of time is spent in the field visiting customers

Occasional overnight travel required

Candidate expected to attend two week insurance boot-camp and participate in

two-day annual sales conference in Wayne, PA
