As a Project Manager, Safety and Security, you will be responsible for administering the security and safety contract compliance, the KPI requirements, and the regulatory and contractual mandates. This position will act as the local company liaison with the client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. This position is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. This position is the primary point of contact for operational functions involving company employees supporting the contract.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

* Primary liaison between company and client senior management
* General Operations management; review post orders and make recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered; review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required; responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business standards
* General Human Resources management; including selection and placement, performance reviews, attendance management, conflict resolution; scheduling, and payroll
* Review alarm system open/close reports, and compile exception reports, forwarding them to appropriate security manager/operations manager for review
* Provide monthly reports to the facilities and corporate security organizations, detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues
* Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annually review and revise the security Emergency Response plan
* Conduct and document monthly testing of security systems; follow through on any corrections/maintenance issues

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

* Must have one or more of the following:
* Service in the active duty Military, Military Reserves, or National Guard
* Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Reserves
* A minimum of (3) years of verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security/safety-related industry
* Associate's degree or higher in Business Administration, Private Security, or Law Enforcement, or another closely related field (e.g., criminal justice)


* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security leadership role
* A minimum of 2 years of safety, military, or law enforcement experience in a supervisory or management capacity
* Work history to include demonstrated knowledge of security and safety inspections, and electronic security systems

Skills Required

* Understanding of OSHA regulations, and safety violations within a warehouse atmosphere
* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Active listening skills
* Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
* Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
* Attention to detail

Other

* Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
* Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
* Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
* Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Warehouse -work in extreme temperatures is expected.

Major activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use, walking up to 3 miles a day.

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, light lifting, walking, stretching and reaching.
