Job Description

Do you have the passion for travel, the purpose to lead, the courage to change people's lives? We are hiring and training CEO's (Chief Experience Officers) to guide & drive epic American road trips (Driving Contingent on CDL). Class B license with passenger endorsement preferred but not required. Training starts April 9th 2018.

Reporting to the Operations Manager at Base Camp, the Operations Tour Leader (aka, CEO) Specialist will be responsible for the governance and efficiency of all operational systems and process related to tour leader/CEO administration. As a CEO systems expert, you will be the go-to for all CEO system management, driving positive change, proactively improving processes and effectively communicating with stakeholders across the business. Collaborating with departments like Technology, Finance, Talent and Local Operations, you will work to ensure that CEOs and CEO management teams have a voice and CEOs’ needs are recognized and addressed.


  • Provide governance and maintenance of CEO systems and process to ensure CEOs consistently follow global process
  • Provide systems support related to CEO management function including training, reporting and trouble-shooting
  • Proactively find efficiencies in CEO related systems and process
  • Coordinate and execute CEO system improvements, working closely with Technology and Regional Operations offices
  • Conduct regular reviews of documents related to policies and governance and ensure global consistency in resources
  • Coordinate communication to operational stakeholders regarding CEO administration process and system changes
  • Provide superior service in system and process issue resolution
  • Collaborating closely with our learning team to create and distribute CEO and CEO Management facing learning material/documentation supporting key company policies
  • Provide governance and best practices for overhead budget analysis and reporting

  • At least two years’ experience as a CEO (Tour Leader) and/or CEO (Tour Leader) Manager is a plus
  • Advanced organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and the confidence to make decisions
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Strong numeracy skills, comfortable dealing with mathematical problems
  • An understanding of and commitment to customer service
  • Understanding of, and identification with, G Adventures’ Core Values
