Job Description

Job Summary:

This professional staff performs activities that facilitate access to and the determination and redetermination of Medicaid, Food Stamps and other benefit eligibility for clients of FrontLine Service. Expedites individual applications for determination of eligibility and participation or maintenance in Medicaid and other benefit programs. Documentation, client tracking and reporting are critical components of this position. Acts as liaison with Cuyahoga County Department of Job and Family Services. Acts as Authorized Representative for all eligible clients' benefits accounts. Coordinates with clients, direct service providers and benefit provider organizations. Is responsible for the agency benefit process for the purpose of generating income for agency billings through benefits and to enable clients to receive appropriate and timely entitlements for their care.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in social service, business or related field, or 5 years experience in benefits administration.
