Primary Responsibilities:

Freese and Nichols FortWorth office is seeking a long-termintern (to work alongside school) for our Electrical Engineering group. Internwill contribute to projects and apply what they are learning in their collegecoursework. Working hours are flexible and the team will work around student'sschool schedule. Intern must be majoring in Electrical or ArchitecturalEngineering and will work in the Fort Worth office.


Sometasks will include (but are not limited to):

* Design and draft on AutoCAD and Revit
* Edit specifications on Word
* Lighting calculations and energy codecalculations
* Research on current codes and designrequirements
* General power design-load calculations, layingout electrical equipment, circuiting, panel schedules
* Communicate with vendors and internal clients
* Attend site visits when possible and help withtaking notes and photos
* Schedule meetings and lunch n learns

Primary Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will:

* Be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
* Have a basic understanding of Electrical Engineering
* Have strong interpersonal/communication skills and good writing skills
* Proficient in Word and Excel
* Have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Have a positive and proactive attitude
* Bewilling to be a team player and assist with additional tasks as needed
* Have basic computer literacy and the abilityto learn new computer software efficiently
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Be willing to learn, take direction,self-motivated, organizational skills, take initiative
* Be flexible. Support the team with shortnotice, quick turnaround project demands.
* Be able to professionally communicate withother disciplines for coordination on projects.
