The Digital Networking Performance Engineer will
- Analyze the performance of the Linux Kernel, networking stack, and applications
- Instrument software for providing visibility to performance metrics
- Create tools to instrument and analyze performance
- Understand hardware metrics available from SoC and their impact on software performance
- model the performance of particular workflows to allow for greater analysis of the workflow
- optimize algorithms to avoid inefficiences of software design
- optimize algorithms to better utilize FSL cache architecture
- Create reports on contributions to software performance
