The Opportunity: The Four Seasons, Washington D.C. is currently looking for a Social Event Sales Detailing Manager. This position is 85 % Social Event detailing for weddings and other social events and 15 % Group Services (Conference Services), handling the Rooms Only and Entertainment groups.

* College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required
* Two to three years of previous experience directly related to hotel catering sales or conference services.
* Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
* Ability to use Delphi required.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask. High level of creativity.
* Ability to irregular hours, weekends, and evenings.
* Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure
* Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and internet technology - preferred.
* Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
