FormFactor hosts an annual 12 week internship as part of our commitment to growing and developing the next generation of technical talent. Successful candidates must be available to start this program on Monday, May 20st or Monday, June 17th and commit to all 12 weeks of the program.

Job Description:

In this position, the Intern will work with FormFactor's Technical R&D team. This role will evaluate one of our engineering designs for the integration of a new architecture for FormFactor's next generation SoC product. This project involves collection of experimental data using advanced tools. The expected output is data analysis using statistical analysis tools, writing a technical report and producing training documentation for internal use.

This is an exciting opportunity for hands-on work experience with state of the art wafer sort equipment.

Projects will include:

* Collection and analysis of data.
* Good written and interpersonal communication skills
* Writing technical reports and training documentation
* Providing recommendations based on results of experiments conducted

Required skills:

* Candidates with the following education experience are encouraged to apply:
* Minimum of 3 years as an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
* Current students or recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering Master's degree or Ph.D. programs.

* Excellent mechanical aptitude
* Organizational skills and work with close attention to detail
* Good written and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to use standard Microsoft software such as Excel. PowerPoint, and Word.
* Strong data collection and analysis skills.
* Ability to critically analyze and summarize experimental results into conclusions and actionable recommendations
* Ability to work in a cleanroom and lab environment.
