Mechanical Engineering (Automation & Equipment Development) - Summer Intern

FormFactor hosts an annual 12 week internship as part of our commitment to growing and developing the next generation of technical talent. Internships provide current students and recent graduates with the opportunity to work on novel projects alongside experts in the world of semi-conductors. Successful candidates must be available to start this program on Monday, May 20nd or Monday June 17th and commit to all 12 weeks of the program.

Responsibilities:

In this internship, you will test and gather characterization data on automation equipment at our Livermore, CA facility. You will work with engineers to assemble and operate our internal electromechanical automation equipment.

Internship duties will include:

* Build and assemble projects
* Running equipment tools
* Design of experiments, data collection, analysis and report generation

Requirements

* Currently enrolled in a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechtronics. Completed at least 3 years of relevant course work.
* Solidworks Experience and sound understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
* Windows and C#/Python experience or some scripting experience preferred
* Exhibited interest in robotics
* MS Excel expertise needed
* Professional, and good communication skills
* Organized and having a good work ethic
* References needed
