FormFactor hosts an annual 12 week internship as part of our commitment to growing and developing the next generation of technical talent. Internships provide current students and recent graduates with the opportunity to work on novel projects alongside experts in the world of semi-conductors. Successful candidates must be available to start this program on Monday, May 20st or Monday, June 17th and commit to all 12 weeks of the program.

Job Description:

Intern will assist in development of assembly tools and processes for new probe card technology. This project will involve design of assembly jigs and tooling, hands on assembly of prototype units, mechanical and electrical characterization of assembled units and documentation of procedures developed and test results.

This is an exciting opportunity for hands-on work experience with state of the art wafer sort equipment.

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements:

* At least 3 years in a Bachelor's program or enrolled in a Master's program
* Degree of study in Mechanical or equivalent engineering program

Candidates must have knowledge and demonstrated skills in the following areas:

* Excellent mechanical aptitude
* SolidWorks design class completion
* Organizational skills and work with close attention to detail
* Good written and interpersonal communication skills
* Strong data analysis skills
* Ability to critically analyze and summarize experimental results into conclusions and actionable recommendations

Other considerations:

* Candidate will work in office and lab environments
* Ability to lift 40 lbs.
