Job Description & Qualifications

Responsibilities

* Support development and delivery of the Team Value Management (TVM) roadmap that meets/exceeds business plan objectives
* Drive CRID2 idea progression and remove roadblocks for Body Interior roadmap delivery
* Interface with production support, product design teams, program management teams and purchasing for cost savings
* Analyze data, create reports and highlight opportunities/outliers for management
* Provide CRID2 support for planning and execution of GAP Week events
* Create and manage regular reports to Body Interior management
* Manage material cost initiatives for complexity reduction and design efficiency
* Support design TVM idea generation events and activities such as Value Added and Value Engineering (VA/VE), plant line walks, supplier site idea generation events, benchmarking design gap analysis, design efficiency studies, etc.
* Support the development and presentation for the Body Interior Supplier Engagement Process and executive reviews

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, Mathematics or related degree
* 1+ year of experience organizing and leading large team events (cost reduction idea generation, team communications, Supplier Engagement, etc.) (coursework/internship's/co-op allowed)

Preferred Qualifications

* Positive, winning attitude!
* Experience with Body Interior or Exterior commodities and especially in Program Management/Integration of that area
* Change management and/or purchasing experience with automotive components and systems
* Ability to utilize multiple Ford cost and process systems including: WERS, WIPS, Effective Reporting, CRID, CMMS, Ford Manufacturing change and Material tracking systems
* Self-starter and motivator, ability to work independently and within teams to drive teams to meet deadlines; this includes anticipating potential issues that might prevent successful roadmap delivery
* Strong communication skills across multiple activities (Finance, Purchasing, GC&T, Body and Powertrain PMT's)
* Ability to plan/organize/present to Senior Leaders and Global Team
* Ability to adapt and create new processes that maximize output
* Demonstrated business acumen
