Job Description

Eastbay, a leading supplier of athletically inspired shoes and apparel, is searching for a Production Art Assistant to coordinate and prepare decorated Team Services orders for production.

A great Production Art Assistant will use artwork created by the Team Services Artists to provide accurate files to be used in screen printing, embroidery and tackle twill operations.

Other duties:

* Proof each order thoroughly, paying very close attention to detail.
* Prepares artist supplied vectored artwork files for production.
* Saves screen printing production files on a RIP server, in accordance with company guidelines.
* Work directly with the Customization Department, as needed, to resolve any artwork and/or stitch file issues that arise during production, ensuring orders flow through in an efficient manner.

This position requires a strong sense of typography and design. Must be organized, detail oriented and flexible while working in a fast paced team environment. Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Strong freehand drawing ability and knowledge of screen printing and embroidery processes a plus.
