"Growing Innovation" is the central aim of FMC Agricultural Solutions. As an intern, you will "grow with us" while cultivating your career.

The twelve-week Summer internship program provides interns the opportunity to apply classroom learnings in an industry setting. You will be assigned meaningful work on cutting-edge projects and, while enhancing and developing your technical skills, will assist in solving real industry problems and "growing results."


We are currently seeking a Global Development, Product Support & Renewal, Herbicides Intern to join our 2019 Summer internship program. The intern will assist with the layout, transplanting of weeds, watering and maintenance of the weed garden. The candidate will learn about weed identification and weed biology. Establishment of turf grass plots at the Stine research farm is critical for Global Specialty Products. The intern will assist with the establishment of various turf grass species and will also learn about field experimental design, turfgrass agronomy and small plot maintenance. The Intern will be given a soil seed bank project studying the weed seeds of the Stine farm. We will screen weed species with multiple herbicides at multiple rates to identify any potential resistance. The intern will learn about the soil seed bank, greenhouse experimental design, herbicides and their applications, mixing herbicides and spraying with the PS&R sprayer. The intern will be asked to prepare a final report and presentation of results for the project team at the conclusion of the program.

Required Education

To be considered for a STEM Internship at FMC's Stine Research Center, you must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or master's program at an accredited college or university and have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Qualified applicants for this position will be pursuing a degree in Plant Science, Plant Biology or related field.

Successful candidates will be rising Juniors or Seniors during the Summer of 2019.

Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
