WSP is currently seeking an exceptional candidate for a Mechanical Engineering Intern for our Chicago office for the summer of 2019, with the possibility of part time work during the school year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform basic calculations
* Assist in preparation of design concept reports
* Assist in preparation of final design plans, cost estimates and specifications
* Assist in analyzing data
* Assist in requests for information, drafting, and correspondence
* Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* CURRENT standing as a Junior/Senior student actively enrolled in an accredited Engineering (or related) Undergraduate or Graduate Program
* Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills
* Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products

Preferred Qualifications

* Local candidates preferred (Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship)
* Three (3) months of previous internship experience
