Job Description

At First Republic, we care about our people. Founded in 1985, we offer extraordinary client service in private banking, private business banking and private wealth management. We believe that personal connections are everything and our success is driven by the relationships we form with our colleagues and clients. You'll always feel empowered and valued here.

Incredible teams doing exceptional work, every day

Founded in 2014, Gradifi was created to ease the burden of student loan debt. We spend our days helping our members get out of debt faster, and we also make sure things are looking up for our employees. We offer competitive compensation, excellent benefits and a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can focus on your professional development while achieving company goals. We are looking for a highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who is also passionate about growing a business in a team environment.

Common goals, uncommon potential

As a Gradifi Sales Development Representative, you will help identify employers looking to offer meaningful benefits for an engaged and empowered workforce. You will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of prospect development for outbound opportunities, including pre-selling, qualifying, and handing it off to the Director. As a highly motivated, detail-focused individual looking for a new challenge, you will have the opportunity for added responsibilities as goals are exceeded.

What you'll do as a Gradifi Sales Development Representative:

* Identify and actively pursue potential new business opportunities for the Sales Director team.
* Effectively use sales enablement tools to make initial contact and qualify prospects, including completing outbound cold calls and emails and following up.
* Utilize information sources internally and externally to gather appropriate data to properly position business to prospect.
* Coordinate with the Sales Director to hand off opportunities and in some cases, see accounts through the full sales process.
* Identify the risks and needs of key decision makers, clients or prospects and present Gradifi's unique value proposition to convert prospect to qualified opportunity.
* Assist Directors with coordinating the organizational resources necessary to drive a sale to completion.
* Maintain the CRM database with up-to-date prospective client information.
* Maintain and grow a pipeline to ensure revenue targets are met.
* Support sales efforts by adhering to department standards and providing timely and accurate updates on pipeline progression and growth.
* Become a subject matter expert for the Gradifi educational benefit offering.
* Collaborate with partners across other business units to strengthen client relationships with the Gradifi offering.

You could be a great fit if you have:

* An energetic, polished, confident, outgoing and proactive style
* Sales aptitude, strong communication skills and a knack at building and maintaining relationships
* The ability to work efficiently and effectively in both a team environment and independently, with a result-driven focus
* Excellent business skills with an emphasis in organizational selling
* The ability to work in a client-centric, strategic and decisive manner according to tight deadlines
* A fundamental knowledge of office databases and company sales technology tools
* The ability to identify and leverage essential information and think in a critical and logical manner
* A willingness to take on increased responsibilities

Job Demands:

* Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
