Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Software developer will be responsible for the maintenance of existing custom developed application and the creation of new software applications to support the needs of the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain and enhance existing custom applications.

2. Developing new applications to meet the demands of the business.

3. Testing, supporting, and documenting the custom written applications.

4. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal, logical or scientific symbolism such as formulas, scientific equations, and graphs. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Computer senior software programming, debug problem detection, database analyst ii, network development, and senior project manager.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Candidate must have at least 6 years .Net/C# web experience. Must also have experience with ASP.Net MVC and javascript frameworks - jquery, angular.js, bootstrap, knockout. Must be solid with SQL Server in data modeling, stored procedures, indexing, and TSQL. Must have strong background in SOAP APIs, WCF, and REST services. Understands and adheres to all compliance issues, attends training as required and related to this position, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy Act, US Patriot Act, Security, and Credit Card Lending.

Basic Qualifications

1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

2. Must have at minimum 5 years .Net/C# web experience

3. Must have at minimum 5 years ASP.Net/MVC experience

4. MCSD or MCAD certified preferred, but not required

5. Strong Transact SQL skills: Ability to write and debug complex queries using multiple functions (MIN, MAX, SUM, String Functions, etc.), JOINs, UNIONs, Stored Procedures, etc.

6. SQL Server Database Administration experience

7. Experience in Java Script

8. Experience with RESTful api

9. Familiar with Cloud Services

10. Backup and recovery planning

11. Technical degree in Computer Engineering preferred, but not required

Must be willing to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
