Job Description

Overview

The videographer is responsible for participating in and sometimes leading the videography process from ideation to completion. This position is a collaborative one, requiring interaction with business owners, Content team members, and other stakeholders; therefore, good communication skills and cooperation are imperative to ensure best outcomes.

Qualifications

* College degree preferred
* Technological proficiency:
* Premiere Pro
* Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
* Davinci Resolve
* Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
* Written and verbal communication skills
* Typing

Responsibilities

* Use his/her expertise in the creative process, discussing the requirements of a videography request, storyboarding, directing the shoot, and editing the video to meet Stuller brand standards OR work closely with project managers, script writers and editors to do so.
* Generate video concepts that drive social media, blog, and BenchJeweler.com efforts forward
* Have an end vision in mind for what the videos finished product will look like and make adjustments on set if needed to produce that goal
* Conceptualize visual content (including style, pace, and overall look and feel of the final product to achieve desired vision and goal) in collaboration with the video requester(s)
* Storyboard (as needed) and present concepts to a group of people
* Set up, operate, and take down equipment for shoot
* Direct scenes to best tell story/communicate desired message
* Choose appropriate music, color correct footage, and edit videos while working with stakeholders throughout the editing process to ensure an excellent final product
* Travel to locations as needed
* Keep inventory of all equipment - identifying items that need to be repaired, replaced, or purchased, and actively manage media
* Develop and maintain Stuller feel for videos, with an eye towards consistent camera angles, voice-overs, music, type treatments, etc.
* Stay abreast of latest video implementations and formats
* Provide best practices for video distribution and formats
* Assist the team in the production of interactive training, corporate marketing and other types of media
* Produce live web product and training demonstrations
* Demonstrate ability to quickly adapt to project demands
* Have an eye for current video trends (including typeface, colors, music, sound effects) and present ideas to keep our video fresh while maintaining our corporate identity
