Job Description

The FIS 2019 Corporate Summer Internship:

As a 2019 Corporate Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoringalong with participation in team projects, social events,charity work, and professional development seminars. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3, 2019 and conclude on August 9, 2019.

Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. As an intern, you should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned byan experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

* The primary focus will be on daily trade operations support, reconciliation, inquiry management, transaction processing and monitoring and managing customer instruction.
* Reviews and validates all daily activity in an accurate and timely manner, and maintains all required controls to ensure overall accuracy and timeliness.
* Works in conjunction with individuals on the team as well as other support teams to ensure seamless processing per procedure.
* Perform research and resolution process for exceptions, reconciliations, incorrect transactions and inquiries.
* Remains familiar with back-up procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise.

* Elevates unresolved issues/problems to management team.
* Maintains records in support of audits.
* May perform other duties as requested.


* Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study
* Displays good written and oral communication skills
* Possess knowledge of the Financial Services industry, including products and services
* Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of MS Office
* Ability to work in one of FIS' strategic locations for the duration of the internship
* GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher
* Ability to multi-task
