Job Description

Maintenance Technician A Tier 1 automotive parts supplier, located in the Metro area, has an opportunity for a well-qualified Maintenance Technician who is capable of mechanical repairs throughout a manufacturing facility and can assist with maintenance tasks and functions that are necessary in a plant environment. The Maintenance Technician will perform a range of facility related tasks, including the repair of hardening furnace equipment. Individual should possess broad industrial mechanical knowledge. Experience in welding and minor electrical, definitely a plus. Job requires bending, squatting, climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Other requirements include the following: Responsible for the repair maintenance/and or installation of mechanical equipment and production machinery. Preventive maintenance on daily equipment and facility repairs. Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment. Involved in all aspects of building maintenance requirements. This is a full time position with benefits and paid Holidays.
