The Information Technology Applications DevelopmentGroup at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is looking for a .Net SoftwareEngineer to work in an Agile delivery team, supporting a diverse portfolio ofapplications. The team works closely with business partners to build andsupport applications for several key businesses in the organization.

Key aspects of this role include:

* Developmentwithin an agile team using Scrum, Kanban and Extreme Programming (XP) techniquesto deliver high quality solutions.
* Collaborateeffectively with business partners and a cross functional team
* Integration,configuration and customization of vendor purchased solutions
* Providesproduction support of current applications and collaborates with otherdevelopers in order to mature process and reduce technical debt.
* Collaborateswith business areas to develop a thorough understanding of business processes,identify application development solutions, enhance new or existingapplications, integrate purchased or System solutions to meet businessrequirements.
* Documents,analyzes and resolves problems, tests, implements, provides on-going supportand assists in responding to audit reviews and findings for existingapplications/software.
* Researches,evaluates, and recommends application programming solutions, identifies ways toreuse existing code, and designs prototypes using current or emergingtechnologies.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education andexperience; major or coursework in Computer Science or Management InformationSystems (MIS) is preferred.

Self-Motivated;strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectivelywith people at all levels of the organization.

Entry level: Experiencein application development using current technology trends and architecturaldevelopment solutions and project experience using system development lifecycle and project management principals preferred.

Level I: Minimum of four years of experience in applicationdevelopment using current technology trends and architectural developmentsolutions to include two or more years of related application development experience.

Level II: Minimum of six years of experience in applicationdevelopment using current technology trends and architectural developmentsolutions to include four or more years of related application developmentexperience.

Level III: Minimum of eight years of experience inapplication development using current technology trends and architecturaldevelopment solutions to include six or more years of related applicationdevelopment experience.

Experience with thefollowing technologies is preferred:

* C#.NET framework
* JavaScript
* Componentlibraries (Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery)
* SQLdatabase design
* SQLServer Integration Services (SSIS)
* SQLServer Reporting Services (SSRS)
* CascadingStyle Sheets (CSS)
* Object-orientedprogramming
* Experiencewith responsive, mobile-first projects
* Experiencewith cloud development
* Experiencesupporting SaaS Solutions
* Experiencewith UI/UX techniques
* MicrosoftCertifications a plus
