LICENSING INTERN

The Licensing Intern is responsible for ensuring the company maintains compliance by assisting in the management of the licensing program. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of the electrical construction trade is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* Education: High School Diploma or GED
* Experience: Currently enrolled at accredited higher education institution and pursuing a degree in Business, Paralegal Studies, or any other applicable program

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Primarily assists with specific projects focusing on research, review, and analysis of state statutes and administrative rules impacting electrical licensing across the United States.
* Researches and evaluates most cost effective means to acquire and maintain company and individual licensing needs including, but not limited to, prep classes, travel to exam site, continuing education, etc.
* Evaluates company licensing needs and presents strategic solutions to maintain compliance.
* Acts as a resource to review and evaluate Company's licensing needs on customer's projects.
* Ensures company licensing compliance by monitoring newly awarded project documentation.
* Continuously monitors and evaluates state statutes, rules, and regulations in an effort to achieve and maintain various levels of company and operations compliance.
* Researches, understands, and interprets state and municipal licensing statutes, rules and regulations.
* Translates state and municipal statues, rules and regulations into company applications and operational compliance.
* Creates and maintains web based comprehensive state licensing requirements.
* Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
