Job Description

Summary

Responsible for the daily operation of the warehouse and inventory system at the Kermit plant parts warehouse and maintenance shop.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the forklift and associated equipment for receiving and warehousing supplies
  • Receive all plant parts and materials and process packing slips
  • Maintain and develop an inventory system, with controlled reorder points
  • Integrate the Fast Crib program into the warehouse inventory system
  • Learn JDE system for generating requisitions
  • Initiate part requisitions as needed to maintain stock levels
  • Perform and record daily equipment inspections on equipment being operated
  • Organize and clean the warehouse area
  • Wear all required PPE during work
  • Involved with Kermit Plant committees as needed

Qualifications

  • Basic working knowledge of computers
  • Shipping/receiving experience
  • No physical restrictions based on pre-employment physical.
