Job Description

Software Engineering Manager, Systems Infrastructure, FactSet Research Systems, Inc., Norwalk, CT: Manage team of systems engineers or projects within Systems Infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements: BA, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in CS or related technical field & 2 years software engineering industry experience working with: Windows, Linux, bash scripting, & SQL. Must have full Software Development Life Cycle experience & proven experience writing queries to troubleshoot & debug data issues. Must have proven knowledge of execution plans & improving query performances on large tables, as well as types of indexes & joins & writing performant queries that use indexes. Must have experience with Data loading of large amount of data (>4 billion rows per day), Data Reporting, Job scheduling & synchronization, handling support tickets & investigating & responding to tickets filed by stakeholders about data issues & systems.
