Job Description

As a Jr. UX Designer you will be responsible for navigating client needs and existing functionality to create highly usable interfaces and workflows of a market-leading cross channel marketing tool. The position requires active collaboration between team members and outside departments as well as client needs. You should enjoy participating in a team environment, helping it to improve continuously, and thrive on the challenges of advancing a market-leading application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Envision and prototype innovative experiences incorporating user and client feedback
- Collaborate with team members for user research and usability test plans
- Run usability tests with internal users
- Document design ideas and map them into site maps, page flows, page layouts, static and interactive wireframes
- Collaborate with the team to identify workflow problems and propose alternate solutions promoting on-going internal innovation and process improvements
- Honor project schedules and deliverable commitments
- Train on and become familiar with all areas of the application
- Create design comps based on wireframes
- Create and maintain iconography for application
- Help maintain a consistent look and feel within the application through designs and application of style guides.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools, preferably Axure
- Experience in design tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop to illustrator concepts and add polish to prototypes
- Understanding of interaction design and visual composition
- Familiarity with the limits and constraints of design for web applications
- BA/BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Human Factors or equivalent
- Extreme attention to detail and commitment to high quality production standards
- Must be proactive and innovative
- Must be able to work in a team environment with an iterative design process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
