Job Description

Experian is looking for a talented Front End Engineer college graduate like you, to help build our next world-class web application which will allow consumers to purchase a variety of Experian products and services. We need talented individuals that have a deep understanding of JavaScript and CSS fundamentals and an excellent algorithm solver. If you are well rounded, self-motivated, experienced with multiple UI technologies and frameworks and enjoy fast paced development cycles, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities:
- Prototype, develop, test and optimize best-in-class responsive AngularJS applications
- Turn requirements such as wireframes, prototypes and interactive user interfaces into fully functional and highly performing web components
- Collaborate with Business, UX, QA and back end teams to deliver superior functionalities
- Integrate RESTful web services utilizing JSON from multi-tiered web applications
- Optimize existing code with engineering best practices
- Maintain high code coverage for unit and E2E tests utilizing Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor
- Participates in the full SDLC/Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations and design sessions.
- Degree in computer science or related field
- Understanding of object oriented design patterns
- Deep understanding of core JavaScript fundamentals
- Diverse knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- Intimate knowledge of cross browser compatibility
- Experience in css/html frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Experience of at least one MVC framework such as AngularJS
- Passion for responsive design and mobile friendly interfaces
- Interest in learning NodeJs and streams
- Understanding of service oriented architecture
- Familiarity of web standards
- Self-disciplined, self motivated individual

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with CSS pre-processors such as Sass, Less or Stylus
- Experience with node development workflows (npm, gulp, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization APIs and JSON (Highcharts, D3, Google Charts, etc.)
- Previous Mobile (web and/or native) development experience a plus
- Financial Services experience is a plus
