Deadline for this posting is June 26, however resumes will continue to be accepted until suitable candidates are found. The starting salary range is roughly $43,000 to $53,000 based on industry experience, teaching experience, and/or level of education. For all positions you must have or be willing to obtain Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 Clearances. Candidates for any of the listed instructor positions without appropriate teaching certification through the PDE must be willing to complete coursework requirements through Indiana University of Pennsylvania to obtain vocational teacher certification.

Descriptions of Positions
Health Assistant Instructor
The HEA instructor is responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program focusing on preparing students for entry-level employment in the health occupations and will support the Pennsylvania Occupational Standards (POS) for CIP Code 51.0899. Instruction consists of core course content with clinical experiences in health-related occupations. Instruction includes but is not limited to basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, legal and ethical aspects of health care and communication.
Candidates who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
Must have a minimum of 4 years of wage-earning industry experience
-AND one of the following three -
1. Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing AND currently licensed as an RN in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
-OR-
2. Any license/certified healthcare professional who has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree AND is currently licensed/certified in their field of practice.
-OR-
3. Currently Licensed Practical Nurse AND has passed the Health Assisting Occupational Competency Assessment.
Computer Networking Instructor
The CMN instructor is responsible for developing and implementing an instructional program focusing on basic skills in a variety of areas associated with computer networking that will support the Pennsylvania Occupational Standards (POS) for CIP Code 11.0901. Instruction includes but is not limited to computer hardware and operating systems, use of networking cable making tools, SOHO and enterprise configuration, and knowledge of TCP/IP.
Candidates who meet one of the following two criteria are encouraged to apply:
1. Possess a PDE Vocational Teaching certification in Computer Networking
– CIP code 11.0901 – Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
-OR-
2. Have a minimum of 4 years of wage-earning industry experience in computer networking.
CompTIA certification preferred.
Electrical Engineering Instructor
This instructional program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills necessary to install, operate, maintain and repair electrically energized residential, commercial, and industrial systems, DC and AC motors, controls, and electrical distribution panels. Instruction emphasizes practical application of circuit diagrams and use of electrical codes and includes blueprint reading, sketching and other subjects essential for employment in the electrical occupations. Reading and interpretation of commercial and residential construction wiring codes and specifications, installation and maintenance of wiring, service and distribution networks within large construction complexes are also critical components of the program.
Candidates who meet one of the following two criteria are encouraged to apply:
1. Possess a current, valid license/certification from the PA Department of State in – CIP Code 46.0399 – Electrical and Power Transmission Installers.
- OR -
2. Have a minimum of 4 years of wage-earning experience as a Residential Commercial, or Industrial Electrician.
Enrollment and Engagement Coordinator
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required, Guidance Certification Preferred.
