Job Description

As a Solutions Manager in CU Cable, you will be a key representative for Ericsson towards our customer providing thought leadership while holding accountability for customer centric solutions.  The candidate will be accountable for driving new funnel opportunities, creating compelling & competitive offers, and progressing large, strategic key deals forward to closure. The candidate will be responsible for the technical expertise across the entire Ericsson portfolio including, network products. This position will be in Philadelphia.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with KAMs to grow the customer business
  • Initiate & drive customer dialog building on existing business
  • Communicate the customer visions, strategies & requirements within Ericsson
  • Evaluate Ericsson´s current strategy & plans vs. customer’s strategic plans
  • Secure understanding of local market dynamics & competitive landscape
  • Generate sales by positioning Ericsson as a technology leader
  • Assure customer awareness for implications of technology trends
  • Participate in knowledge transfer & documentation
  • Build strong relationships with Ericsson account management teams, key customer decision makers and influencers, Ericsson business units, third party partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Drive the technical sales process and lead the designing of comprehensive and complex technical solutions addressing customer needs for IMS and related technologies.
  • Identify market requirements in accordance to customer’s requirements and feedback; identify strategic market requirements; Influence roadmap development.
  • In agreement with the Ericsson account team, initiating proactive customer engagements with existing and prospective customers
  • Support in developing & delivering customer presentations
  • Drive up-sell opportunities during the entire process in order to contribute to increased sales volumes.

  • Strong negotiation and argumentation skills
  • Commitment to long-term engagements & to prove Ericsson credibility in the field with successful business cases.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are a must
  • Articulates arguments or ideas in a compelling way
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized and structured, with a good grasp of key business drivers

 

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in engineering and MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of relevant ICT experience including relationship sales, product management or consulting
  • Minimum 5 years in leadership positions
