Position Title: Software Engineer - Senior

Software Developer:

Equifax CSE is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Java development skills who will help with development and maintenance efforts of one or more products within the Decision Management Product Suite as well as assist with any problems or technical risks throughout the project. The Software Developer is expected to conceptualize software solutions into user-friendly software applications and pay close attention to details.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Participate in the gathering and reviewing of business requirements and translating these into functional/technical designs.
* Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements.
* Use object-oriented techniques and software engineering best practices including design reviews, code reviews, unit-testing, and re-factoring.
* Participate in the development of code for Spring software applications.
* Research technical solutions to business problems.
* Follow agile best practices and maintain/improve the work of the agile team.
* Constantly learn about latest technologies and seek their best use in the products, if possible.
* Lead and mentor junior engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent with relevant 3-5 years of industry experience, work-study, and/or internship experience
* Or Master's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent and 3-5 years of industry experience, work-study, and/or internship experience
* Or 3-5 years of relevant Java application development experience

WORK EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum of 3-5 years of Java application development experience, Spring, REST, Microservices, Cloud (GCP or AWS preferred)
* Good understanding of Java coding fundamentals and open source technologies.
* Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
